Extruded Boss – SolidWorks Tutorial #3

One of the basic operations of 3D CAD systems is the operation of extruding a sketch.

From the Features tab select the Extruded Boss/Base option.

And here we can specify the dimension of this extrusion. Let’s enter here 20 mm. And click ok.

And in this way we created a cuboid with dimensions of 200 x 150 x 20.

Let’s save this part. Choose File Save As and let’s save it simply as part-1.
